This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i
This is my 1st assignment of using MAYA. Please give a comments. My question is w to make sunset coming through the window ? What kind of lights do I need to use ?
Some advices, although they're just minor things, looking very good! Try using something like volume fog or depth map to make the lights trough the windows as realistic as possible, look at https://www.thegnomonworkshop.com/tut...s_shadow.html, and try to give every object a shadow with that, it would be in..... un.... arg..... not realistic if they wouldn't in such a bright sunlight. Perhaps the walls could use some noise texturing, to make them look less perfect, and the table's cloth ( don't know how you made it? ) could be just a little more smooth . but a very good job!
Taller bannister (hand rails) - unless hobbits live here
less symmetry (box lids), and less clutter so it feels believable.
Blowing curtains on an unobscured window
And the light seems to be a smeared paint brush on the back window? and the tablecloth drapes don't match the angles of the table... but looks cool!
maybe its just me, but i would change the color of the curtains too. looks weird with light colours, make the colors blend with the objects around them. Other than that 10 points to u, nice job.
