Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Attaching Polygons?

I'm trying Michael's tut with the car. I'm very new at this so this tutorial is taking forever because I have to figure everything out how to do it. I'm guessing it's not meant for beginners. Anyways I'm on the step where I need to attach the created canopy to the body of the car. How do I do this?

the vertices that your are trying to wield must be on the same object, if they are not, you must first combine the objects together...

Edit Polygons > Combine. Then you can merge.
