Transformer short

well, in simplymaya IRC, one thing lead to another and now I'm making two transformers and having them battle in a short animation. The car is a Mercedes C class, and the jet is going to be an F1-11. I'll post images when I can cause this will quite likely take a long, long, long time. user added image

First up, is what I have currently modelled of the car.

yeah, for the most part. At least this has been a good way to learn how to keep things together. With every mistake, I've found out something I can keep in mind for my next undertaking. user added image

That's looking really good! I can see a resurgence of interest in Transformers around the corner thanks to that...

Hey Mike! How about a Transformers challenge sometime?

How would you rig this? Would it be all parented geometry or could you somehow build a skeleton?

That'll do donkey... that'll do...
