character - girl [nudity]

Hey all

After a long break from Maya i picked it up again today.
Its funny.. it seems that my break made me better somehow user added image

anyways.. here is my new project. My original idea was to make a cartoonish pinup girl but for now im sticking to photo reference. I can allways exagerate (sp?) later.

i have been strugling for a couple of hours to get them breasts to look ok..

Modelled with Connect Poly Shape.

Heres a test render:

(Dang.. how could i leave Maya for so long??!?)

Glad to have you back in the wonderful world of 3d modeling... I know exactly what you're talking about when you said the break made you better somehow... A pause from time to time really does wonders... Good start on the body... maybe a little too smooth at some places but I'm sure you'll fix them later on...

Thanks for your replys user added image

the collar bone is not forgotten, but thanks for reminding me user added image i'm planning on making that when i attach her head.

I was too tired last night to post an update when i called bedtime (at 3am) but heres a quick render...

made refinements on her back and buns user added image

i think i'll start on her missing body parts today.. might be a good idea to leave her body alone a bit so i wont waste hours moving points and eventually mess it all up user added image

It's looking very good rotbol, giving me inspiration to get going on my WIP. Can you post a shot showing the low poly cage? Perhaps of the back? I think you did a very good job on the spine and shoulder blades. I'm looking forward to more updates.
