it basically means that every country is now being pulled together under one big happy home, where brussels pulls all the strings / we all go to euro and once happy places that charged sensible prices are now the same as everywhere else.

look at spain and parts of germany... once had decent costs, now they are as bad as england, still about time you guys paid up a bit more :p

kev, you shuld have alrready loosed the pound and turned to the evil side... what happens? you dont want to have inflation until you reach a monaco life cost? user added imageuser added image

you know, we alrready have an average housing(is that correct?) cost in madrid a little bit expensiver than in paris, and in paris it is 1.4x the housing cost of london. but that was subjacent inflation caused because spaniards have preference for investing in bricks over complex finantial engineering(and so far it has yelded far greater benefits, let see how much time lasts the bubble)... anyways, the real inflation since the € is growing like a monster even if the official indicators dont say so (and i know what kinds of tricks they use elaborating em...in fact my macroeconomy techer made the ones of two yrs ago...), so cheers... it will/is screwing everyone not filthy rich... but at 15/25 yrs it is probable that the average EU habitant has more or less its individual income adjusted to the price range of germany or so...
Average income here is between 0.9/0.8 compared to germany/paris/london and true, we are closing the gap in life cost at far speedy steps... but hey at least drink/tobacco is still like 0.6 the cost of paris user added image. for the newcomers is just a matter of time... On the end it will be far better for all the countrys inside EU just that now it is a lil bit tough for all..
Convergence... huh and speaking of convergence... user added image when will ya sons of Great Britain learn to drive on your right?user added image
