This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

how to use ALT GR key for navigation?

Hi

When dollying/tracking/tumbling the view I would like to be able to use the ALT GR key (on the right side of the spacebar) in combination with the mouse, instead of the standard ALT key (left of spacebar). I am using Maya 5 on Windows XP Pro.

I have looked in the Hotkey Editor but can't see how to assign replacements for actions that include the mouse, or indeed the ALT GR modifier key. Perhaps it is possible to get Windows to recognize the ALT GR key as doing the same as the standard ALT key?

BTW is there actually any use for the ALT GR key?? I have never come across one.

You usually can use use Alt GR as a replacement for Ctrl-Alt combinations.
