This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.
Well after watching the new Vin Diesel Movie (The chronicles of Riddick) i had a strange want to model him, i thought the gogels were so extremely cool. Anyways... HELP! lol when i render (and only when i render it shows up like this with the two ridge thingys out there.
ok, so i figured it out. it was something wierd when i put in the shader for the eyeball... why would it make those ridges in just the render though???
its the lips
By the way that movie KICKED ASS if your into non-stop action. It had a little bit of politics but it just added to the story line (which by the way, is kind of like the first movie "Pitch Black", Cheesy)
the story line may have been cheesy but if your into a good shoot em up beat em down and slice em up movie this is the one for you AFTER THAT little commentary
I am going to say screw the eyes for now, i got this shader from high-end3d and it was some blue eye shader, i'll just make my own or something. no matter how many times i did an undo it left the ridges in the render, Even without the eyes! so finally i tried copying the model out of that scene, and that took the ridges away. So now tonight or something ill play with adding some detail or something.... lol
