This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with
complex objects.
Hello everbody
I am looking for a easy to understand tut on how to create an ocean with waves, that sort of thing, I know there is one at simplylightwave.
aaahaaa!!! Now I did this when I learnt Lightwave a few years ago. I can point you in the direction of a certain Dan Ablan, hes an absolute guru of Lightwave and has some good books out there. Now the book I'm thinking of has a yellow racing car on the cover. Thats the book you want!!! Sorry cant remember the name though, but look up this guy anyway. Its all done with fractals and crumple procedural shaders in Lightwave itself, very good!!! or you could check out www.flay.com, big Lightwave site!!! Lots of tutorials even for Maya guys too!!!
