Anime Style woman

Hello Everyone,

Heres my current attempt at an anime style woman.

She's only my fourth attempt at finishing a human of any type.

Pic of the grenades at her waist. I'm still trying to get a clear idea of how they should be put at her belt. I'd imagine she wouldn't have them held by the pin but instead by the handle. But I'm still figuring out how to make it look right.

Thanks for the comment Jango after taking a second look she is a bit chunky for an anime girl.

I just gave her what could only be the virtual equivalent of a tummy tuck. :devious:

Let me know what you guys think.

I was likeing the chunky a bit. At least she wasn't anirexic. Anyway. It could be becosue of the bind pose but she looks a bit off balince. I'm just conserned when you move her around she will look constantly off balince. Maybe chunky isn't what your after but with a chest like that I would think her legs would look better with some more meet on them in the thighs.

yah looks fine, nice job. You might want to add more definition to her ears though

Jango, yep. and its a good point about the style. I was just meening I think its cool if they were going a bit in the chunky direction on perpuse. if not its all good. Like the model no matter.

bahearn81 - The lack of definition on the ears was intentional. I am planning on using a toon shader and figured that a simple ear was the way to go. I'll play with the ear a little bit and see if I can add more definition.

Pony - I'm not sure what you mean by off balance. Can you explain a little more?

I've been worrying about rigging her because I've never done it. Every time I work on a model I pretty much leave them in this pose. I'd like to learn and since theres no time like the present I'd like to try and rig this model. Does anyone know any good references for rigging?

After I finish the modeling should rigging/posing come next or is texturing next?

I meen off balince buy if she was standing just like that. she would fall forward more than lickly if there was real gravity. Her body cavity is alot forward of the center of the legs. 2 fixes I can think of is to straiten out the back some, bringing the berrel of the chest back. or to get the legs thicker.. more towed the front.
