Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character
but first got to solve this problem, maybe you guys know what to do.
I want to make the mouth, and I selected some faces and extracted them.
this goes well untill I want to rotate the lower part. It gets all
funky. tryd to change the pivot but it still doesen't work.
anyone got an idea what is going on?
...or knows a better way to get the same result?
is the top and bottom 2 piece construcion, it looks like from a previous image you have 1 piece, if so you could delete some faces, then try, if i can dig it out i may have an earlier version of my croc where i was a the same stage ill post it up here and you can have a look.
