This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with

First of all, it will allow you to do tourism in La Belle Province (Québec), especialy Montréal which is considered one of the best town to live in in the world. Incidentaly, we are one of the biggest pusher of multimedia, 3D stuff and web porn which is quite a feat if you consider how small the population is. And according to my totaly unscientific study, we also have the highest ratio of hot chick! (hence the porn thing).
Second, knowing french will allow you to pronounce correctly some french expressions, such as 'déjà vu', 'rendez-vous', 'champagne', etc... I once argued with an American over the pronounciation of 'déjà vu', it was ridiculous...
Third, it will allow you to see French movies without the subtitle! (not that there are many good french movies, mind you..)
Finaly, most important of all: impress girls!
But I have to agree that french is not easy at all. Speaking isnt that hard but writing, oh well... so many exceptions!
Thanks Mantat.
You really opend my eyes, especially the porno part :o Anyway I didnt really mean what I said it was a little joke, well I may have partly meant it because I hated learning it... and besides if I were to prenounce french correctly then it wouldnt be as funny. Champagion anybody?

Oh.. I just noticed that I forgot to put some :-) and :-D into my post!
I was saying this in an humorous way. :-)
But dont worry, you can manage yourself very well in Montréal even if you only speak english. We are getting assimilated by the US and rest of Canada faster each year. I dont really see this as a bad thing because not speaking the same language than the rest of the continent isnt very good business wise and can even become a problem when you want to travel outside the province.
This english-french debate is a real dangerous subject here and I should stop talking about it before the french police jump on me...
Originally posted by murph ah yeah, but french girls tend not to shave their underarm hair....
need i say more...
So true... But not in Canada!!! Quebec is the capital of epilation (I wonder if its related (again) to the pon thing... )
The ratio of epilation clinic / population is higher here than in California which is supposed to be the highest in the US (saw a repport on this on tv last year).
