Maya 3D Glossary

Hello. I was wondering could we have a brief explanation of the terms used in Maya.

Things like :

What is modelling, texturing, rendering, character rigging, animation, raytracing, dynamics, etc. and other essential things.

This would give newbies a rough idea what these terms means.

Perhaps make it a sticky post as well ?

Appreciate it .

Thank you !

The Maya help files would be a good place to look for explanations of the terminology.
