I didnt even see what the website is about. My eyes where too busy trying to focus somewhere.

advices:

1. Kill ALL those moving objects!
2. i mean it.. kill them all.. they are annoying!

I got scared and ran away, didn't even let it load. It's a shame because for all i know there could be some good work on there i'm missing out on. The colours are too "in your face" and i have to agree that with everthing moving about like that you just can't consentrate as my eyes get diverted to the movement.

So tone it down and remove all the scrolling text and animations and i'll try again.

Personally I dont think theres any Maya on there what so ever, we had a look at work and theres just pics of Asian chicks every where you look in those galleries. Too much picadilly circus feel to the whole thing.

Home page looks a bit like Dig Dug. Its a old game. I would have you ask your self what is your goal with your home page and work from there.

Not much comment about the forums since there not my bag, I'm more about Maya than java, etc.. I would think though with that much tech the home page would be different. Only comment I really have is what’s up with C++ being listed under OTHER techniques ?

I appreciate you obviously took the time to complete the site.

I realize the desire to have a site up. But a site that has a template with required banners, buttons, advertisments, etc., is not necessarily leaving the visitor with the desired experience. Your site is very busy, chaotic, and ill planned. You do not present one consistent theme. It reminded me of a carnival, lots of blinking lights, and wheels spinning, and not much substance. I am not saying you do not have substance/content - I am pointing out the site ran me away before I had the opportunity to discover anything.

Try toning it down a bit.
