Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

looking real nice. The wallpaper seams to have to much contrast in it. Just personal taste so disregard if you like it how it is.

Thanks pony, yeah it's a dificult balance to achieve with all the shades of grey , I might tone down the paper at that.
it's kinder interesting tho to make textures and then desaturate them and make them all fit together....oh btw there will be some color but it's a mystery for now user added image

The biggest problem with your wallpaper is that it's too busy. Unless you are going to place an effect over it to remove some of it's intensity I'd recommend using a less 'noisy' texture. Since you're working in Black and white, you want to focus more on the values of your image and where you want them to lead the viewers eye, just something to think about user added image

and the tree looks great, but I think you'll lose a lot of detail on that if it is too far away or too small in the image.

Thanks Demon , I will think about that and try to adjust mt textures a little.
I am not sure if I am going to be able to complete this work as I have a problem with my eyesight right now and can't use the pc monitor for more than a couple of minutes, sorry I haven't been around , but I have been trying to avoid using the pc for the above reason.
Hope to try and be back as soon as possible, goodluck to all and thanks.

Dude!
I hope you are alright! Just give it a rest for a few days perhaps. If you can afford it, invest in an lcd monitor bec they are easier on the eyes. Get better soon.

It's to grey

Well I hope that you are allright, because you were doing a very great work. I only think that, the picture need more color, because it's too black and white. (grey)

You have to forgive me my english, I'm a portuguese, and I don't talk english very well, but I'm trying to do my best.

Sorry if I created a new thread in this forum, it's that I'm new in here. Sorry
