This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

dual cpu and modelling

I've always been curious about something.

Does Maya perform better when modelling using a dual cpu
computer?

I know dual helps alot when rendering but have not found
much info when its about modeling.

longer answer: When modeling in Maya most of the interface uses OpenGL so this means Video card is being used alot. There are many things that still use cpu but the mojority is all video card driven
