I highly recomend that people read this. Although the article is talking specifically about hacker communities, the information there applies to this community as well. That information can also be used as good guidelines for anyone asking questions in the IRC channel.
If you're going to answer the question at all, give good value. Don't suggest kludge workarounds when somebody is using the wrong tool or approach. Suggest good tools. Re frame the question.hope you will be use it

Its a very good call as there are some good books out there for all levels of Maya user or should I say 3d artists. So post up links for books you may have read or want to get an opinion on one before you buy it....
