This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.
Cool concept going on here. Haven't played Eve Online meself but the screenshots were very nice. Bet those don't do the game justice as they're static. Probably grand in game.
I suggest making the land area much more interesting... mountains, forests, rivers, waterfall, etc. That's the big cool thing about this idea and it'd be neat to see it fully realized. Maybe even a tiny village!
