problem sub-d and mentalray

Hey i got problem with rendering sub-d`s with mentalray renderer!!! Is there something that is needed to be turned on???


Best resolt would come, if every one in the group are doing what is best for himself and the group!!

MR only renders quad faces.

try collapsing you geo, or manually making your base mesh all quads.

its in the docs.

maya supports non-quad subD's.
subD's are not "all quads"
use your selection mask in the edit poly menu,so u can only select tri faces or n-gons,
