Its a lot more serious than just putting a message up on the screen. It deletes all the data that is stored in the same location as the board.
Seems to be affecting most PHPBB or PHP boards..

The boards at quake3world.com (like learning-maya.com) still have yet to be restored back to normal. Some sites didnt have a current backup and were wiped out completely.
Its just sad that in this day and age that some moron takes pleasure in wiping out many years work.. Crazy
