I said some time back i would redo my workspace as i've not only got a new computer but it's moved since the first model for the first round of the summer tournament. Well i've started it today and althouugh the only part of my PC is a half modeled bass tube i've modelled most of the surroundings.

lol, yeah i know it's a bit cramped. I keep telling myself i must invest in a roller ball mouse so i don't have to lift it half a dozen times to get across the screen.
Lovely model you've got there, nice work. are you going to shade & texture it? I rekon you've just about got enough room for another coffee cup behind the keyboard there!!
I don't know about texturing. I might put some basic shaders on things but i doubt i'll UV map it an paint any textures. Couple of reasons why:
1. I hate uv mapping, takes ages and i find it really hard.
2. It always ends up looking crap because i can't do it and brings the whole scene down so it would of looked better plain.
I know you'll say if i can't do it i should just practice more and your right but i'll tackle it some other time. Maybe in a few months.
The way I figure it is that we all have the rest of our lives to learn how to do stuff so there is no rush. Take it as it comes, thats what I say. Once again, keep up the good work,
