Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Cartoon Dog Booleans

Hey quick question. I am on part 3 of the cartoon dog and when i try to use the booleans> union i get error // Error: This command requires at least 2 argument(s) to be specified or selected; found 1. //

I have checked ant it seems that both sections are intersecting each other around the neck area. I even zoomed in inside the body and I can see the neck poking through.

Any ideas or ways to give you more info.

thanks.

Booleans can be a pain... again try and really make sure the parts are intersecting and see if the normals of the geometry are faceing the same way.. If you still cant get them to work post the file and I'll have a look.

I am a little new so what do you mean by the normals facing the same way?
