Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

polys, curves and questions

this question might be useless, but i'll try anyway.

i have a model of a car, fairly detail one. i'm trying to figure out a way to use paint effects to draw the outer rim of all the individual parts, i.e. door, windshield etc, without having to manually draw all of the curves.
i'm not being lazy, it's just that this would have to be done to many cars so i'm trying to find some effiency if possible.

any help would be most appreciated

If you plan to texture the vehicles, I would inlude piece outlines as part of the texture map.
