Mesopotamian Genius (Angel) Game WIP
Hey everyone,
Just a little background to this image - I'm currently in grad school and working on a 5 person project to produce a prototype version of a game for the federation of american scientists. The purpose of the game is to implement current Mesopotamian artifacts at an art museum into a game-like situation to educate kids (12-14) about ancient Mesopotamia and its culture and how the artifacts would have been used in day-to-day life. We're starting to create art assets for the game, so this is the first run for this guy.
Background to the image: The Mesopotamian Genius is kind of a demi-god, comparable to what we think of as angels. They're not quite gods, but they're celestial beings (not mortal either). They were protectors of cities and temples, and Mesopotamian artisans would chisel out these giant panels (7' tall or so, see picture, my only reference unfortunately) to act as protectors of the temples and the people. Basically this guy is the host of the game, taking you around ancient Mesopotamia, so he's the main character.
I guess for comments and crits I'm looking for basic anatomy stuff, does he look old (he's supposed to), does anything look grossly wrong, and if anyone is a part-time Mesopotamian junkie, be my best friend please!
