This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.
although the texturing is incomplete, I really like the texture you have so far. The shiny reflective car metal look (i notice there are little flakes as well). Could you explain how you made it? I ask because i am also making a robot model and have been trying to get a nice metallic look without success.
And I like those tubes on the back of the head. It shows you're thinking about how the androids joints work.
Overall its good dude. But as has already been said the face needs a texture perhaps similar to that of the body. Also, something that will make a big difference for this is the characters pose. At the moment its very stiff despite the fact shes an Android. Perhaps some reference of supermodels on the catwalk would help you there, or as I always tell people, use a mirror.
I notice this alot with peoples figures, the poses are always an offender. In creating a more believable character posing is vital!!
I have learnt this the hard way over the last few years and believe me once you get that right it will pay and like everything else its another detail worth looking at.
