Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Making Teeth

I've searched here, and on cgtalk and did some google searches.

Can anyone tell me or show me a good way to make good teeth? Im making a realistic character and I want to make some nice teeth for him. Everytime I make a tooth, I usually start with a box and sub it a few times, and when I smooth it.. it looks nothing like a tooth.

Any suggestions?

There is no easy way. You just have to get good reference and do the teeth tooth by tooth and actually pay attention to the shape user added image The good thing is that when you've done it once, you can reuse the teeth with other characters. Did these couple of years ago:

Problem solved, my teacher lent me a book that he recommended. Called "Stop Staring" by Jason Osipa. Its really good for facial modelling. Thanx for the tips though.
