Cleaning up NURBS and stuff and Convering to Polys for Union...

Hey, I have a car I am working on, and I keep adding things to each other and they intersenct, but I can't attach them because they don't have matching Isoparms and parametiraztioanf thingy, so SHOULD I convert to Polygons and do some Boolean Union and Merge some vertices and then convert back to Nurbs? Would I still be able to keep my objects the same and convert back efficiently like Extruded curves?

with NURBS as long as the surfaces look like they line up your fine, experiment with the stitch tool and surface rebuild tool to try and get it too look right.
