model disappeared while working

urgent help needed!!!!!!!!
I can see the polygon surface in the outline but can't see the model. I don't know what happened ?

With it selected in the outliner, can you see input nodes in the attibute editor? It's either on a layer that's hidden or the result of disfunctional operation such as strange boolean that didn't work.

I had the lattive deformer on and i did undo which might have distrubed the operation and the model got disappeared and i got the message disfunctional operation . But then i close the file and tried to went back to the saved version but i couldn't find it . Its not hidden anywhere in the layer.
So what should i do

is it no longer showing in the outliner? If not, then afraid it might be gone. Are you set up for incremental saves? If so, you might be able to open from a point before it disappeared.

I've had geometry disappear on me also, but undo immediately and that seems to bring it back for me.

Open up hypergraph, select the geometry's node and graph all input/output connections. See if there are any inputs or outputs that you think might cause problems. If you want, you can send me your file at the email below, and I'll see if I can find the problem... no promises though.

maybe ensure that there is still a shader connected to it?
