Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character
Is there anyway to make an object with a shatter effect not fall apart as it is falling through the air? I currently have the shatter attribute keyframed to change from the object to the shards just before it hits the ground. However if you look closely, once it changes to shatter, the shards begin to separate before it ever collides. How can I keep them together, while still haveing my switch from object mode, to the shattered surface?
