This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

I searched for a while. Seems the best you can do is move your hypershade/outliner and a few other floating windows to your secondary monitor(which is handy)... that seems to be it.

(i do have my render hotkey pop up on my secondary though.)

I have it set up. either usin standard dual monitor mode or panoramic style.
Dual monitor standard (second monitor as attached secondary):
good for laying out menus, open gl doesnt work on second monitor so you can use hotboxes or anything like that.

Panoramic: (treats both screens as one)
Open Gl works nicely on both screens but layout is not as intuative as attached mode. I often end up having all my tools or panels detached from the main maya prog to give more control.
