Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.
i have to say the tut is really good btw plus its interactive lol.. there a few parts where you working in photoshop and u are on the wrong layer and u dont realise it for a a few minutes... quite funny... can make it into a game and see how long it takes to realise lol
lol same here, many stupid mistakes, or should i say bad habits i do when using photoshop...
btw the tut is really good and anyone reading this thread and they are new to maya and both modeling and texturing... this tut is excellent.
btw i did try to sort out the sync for the modelling tut 9 but it would take me a while because the software doesnt allow you to use avi to sort it out and only accepts mpeg... On the same note would adobe premier be able to do it?
still have a problem with part 5 of texturing my end guys... if i go to the directory and try to go in it crashes me PC... if i load winamp or windows media player and type in the location of the file manualy it doesnt play and in winamp the length is in - something for some reason?
ill download the other parts that have been "fixed" and see if i get same hassle

I'm downloading it now. If you can unpack the zip file then it should be fine.

Downloaded and working fine, check the MD5 file to make sure your download didn't cut of half way through.
A media file, can't screw up a PC. It doesn't execute anything.
