Need help in lip Animation!

Hi Everybody!

I beginned this Tutorial Http://www.dirtyoldtoon.com/tutorial...utorial_05.htm
wich concerned to animate a mouth with maya! i just landed in the 5th step (page) and didn´t undertand how to handle this! i´m blocked in the step after i created the Locator and named it TRup! after that i supposed to point snap the locator to the root joint of the top right joint chain. I don´t know how schould i do this step! i tried with modify->snap align objects->point to point or 2 points to 2 points or also 3points to 3points or finally align objects! but nothing from these tools seem to work!
Please can some one explain me what snap point means and how schould i snap point a locator!? user added image
Can someone tell me where i may find another free detailed and advanced mouth and lip animation Tutorial ! Or some useful links for that!
Thanks very much and i hope i got some answers!

if u don know how to snap points yet, u should not be trying advanced stuff yet.

anyhow,
snap to points "v" snap to grid "x" snap to curve "c"
hold these keys down on ur keyboard.
the "v" key is what u are looking for in this case.

You failed to try one importent step... check the help files. As shown, not only is there a help link for point snapping but it is even a tutorial on snapping. I seem to be on a mini-crusade these days regarding the help files. user added image

But I do give you props for experiment with the snap align.
