In the time slider window, if you shift-click and drag with the LMB over all of you keyframes, you will see them highlighted in red. You can then select the arrows in the centre, and drag the keys along the timeline to where you want them to be. You could also select all of your keyframes in the graph editor, then shift them until it starts at frame 600.
Cheers for your interest Lisa, I tried that but I have a nasty habit of leaving things behind and then I loose track of where I am and it all goes tit's up. Is there a way of making sure that all the keys are selected?

Hmm, I'd probably recommend doing it in the graph editor then. Select every single thing that you've keyed, and in the graph editor you should be able to press the f key to fame all of the curves, then select them all at once and then move them. I can't really think what else to do at the mo.........my brains a bit fried from work at the mo!!
you can do it in the dopesheet editor,
select all the things that have keys then MMB and move them all the way to frame 600 like drag and drop, i guess it should work on a large scale
hope you can get it sorted.
