file converter

Hi im a new user to maya, i need to import 3dsmax models but i havent found any format converter, do you know any? im a mac user. thanks.

AFAIK, there are no file conversion programs for Mac that can read .max files. You should do a search on the web for Windows-based file converters.

i was thinking of getting the z brush program, its a very efficient tool and i believe it can read multiple formats, just import one and export another.... what you think of it?
