This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.
I'm having a bit of trouble with MAYA's spotlight fog. Viewed from the side it looks great. I added an intensity currve to it to get the look I wanted.
But when it faces the camera, the fog vanishes. You'd think that it would be at its brightest then, but no, it vanishesh. Any way I can fix this? Think lighthouse That's what I'd like.
I was told maybe Mental Ray can fix it but I'd like to do it with the Maya Software if for nothing else but the fact that it works with MAX and it should work in MAYA, haha.
