Introduction to Maya - Rendering in Arnold
This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

skater/tagger guy

its my first time texturing a head and one of the first times ive ever used a bump map. i had to basically re learn how to use it for this head.

anyway, here is a teaser pic of the skater, his body is done, and i may post it later if i feel up to it.
hes already rigged and animated, now im going back and trying to make him look a bit less fake.

any comments besides the shape of his head and the goofy resperator mask?

also, the body skin doesnt quite match the head skin yet, i havent got to the body texture yet

I reckon the eyes (from this angle) need to come down a bit. Possibly need to push them back slightly more as they sit slightly flat on the face.

ill have to tweak the eyes, i made his eye sockets oddly so they dont fit right, haha.

i still have to add latices and that kinda thing to his knees and elbows, but it moves for the most part

(just a quick 30 second pose)

Some suggestions:

* the ears should stand out more
* the nose bridge should be way wider
* the flesh around the eyes should be much thinner
* eyes too far apart (about one eye should fit between them)
* move eyes down
* the neck much thicker.

This is of course if you're going for a real human.

Keep up the good work

ive got the bridge thickened up a bit, i made the ears stick out a bit more, i didn't even notice that before.
and the eyes and neck, ill probably leave, its closer to a cartoon character than it is to a photorealistic model.
