Maya learning edition download

Anyone here know of a site where I can download the Learning edition from outside of the official site-can't use download managers there and downloading straight I lost the connection at 87%(dial-up connection).I need somewhere that allows Download managers:headbang: :angery:
I've got the Sims2 and I've been playing around with some of the 3dmeshes but the copy of milkshape I was using ran out of time and the copy of Wings does something that totally screws up the conversion in and out of OBJ that means the Sims2 program doesn't display the revised mesh properly(no texture just the shape).
Please don't suggest buying the bundled version from the official site as I can't buy online outside of Australia-wrong type of credit card.
Any help would be appreciated

No alternate sites, but it does come with various books. An investment in a book may also give you a reference. For a free modeling program, consider Blender... not sure if it'll work for SIMS though.
