Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

shaders...of...shaders...

Ok folks,
Here is my problem…
I’m a newbie in Maya and I want to make some shaders for my scene.
I managed to make some basic shaders, but for a rusty metallic stairs, for example, I downloaded some shaders from AliasWavefront and there in graph network I saw that they use a lot of utilities like sampler info, blend colors, etc.
The problems is that I don’t understand those utilities and if is there somebody who can explain to me what are doing those utilities or know some tutorials…
