This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

wow, its been a long time since i posted, skool work, vacations, moving, and new pc, has stopped from bein in simplymaya, well im glad im back, im seein new members around here, and are very talented, anyways, finally working on a project, these are just a few pix of the beginning stages of my mech..

Oh, metallicjet, how do you get your clayish look to the models? I've seen the way other people do theirs, but yours looks someow unique to the others.

very simple, u see the dome and floor, dome( lambert, ambient color is on to a certain extent, so is incandescence is on also), and thats about it, background color is ur choice, i chose white for dome and bright gray for floor

edit : sorry for the resolution wont happen again

in ur render globals, do preview final gather, have caustics on and WAAALLLAAA, u have clay renders, and this way, ur model looks TEN TIMES BETTA, fer real, not jokin:attn:

btw, im workin on my concept right now, cuz my mind went blank for my mech, so once i have the concept goin i will have my mech goin as well
