I am updating my portfolio and need to learn more about normal mapping. I am looking at purchasing Z-Brush for creating the High Poly Meshes but have not found any tutorials on Maya/Zbrush Workflows. Know of any?
Y'know, maybe I should have worded it differently and asked "What Maya, Z-Brush Workflow Tutorials Do you guys use? What are the links?" Yet instead of taking a few minutes to write down something helpful along those lines, you decided to infer I was lazy or a complete idiot. The only Idiots I know are the ones that don't ask questions at all.
You might check out a normal map vid I did here for SM, although it is purely how to generate a normal map within maya without any outside application. I'm afraid I've no zbrush experience myself, so I can't really help in that regard.
These links are mainly about displacement. If you are just looking for modeling tutorials using ZBRUSH then I suggest surfing ZBRUSH CENTRAL's user gallery and read through the threads there. Not only educational, but a real treat for the eyes!
You can also download ZSCRIPTS there that can walk you through just about any technique you can think of.

This is a link I had on my computer from quite a while back ( I gotta clean up my bookmarks). I think the techniques on here are outdated, but it never hurts to check things out I guess. Unfortunately I don't know that much about creating normal maps since I wasn't as interested in realtime rendering. My main interest in ZBRUSH is creating high quality displacement maps that can be acurately represented in Mental Ray.
to import maya files into zbrush
go to windows
settings
preffrences
Plugin Manager
__then turn on ObjExproter_mll
export "selected" as an OBJ
then you will be able to export images into zbrush
-while your in zbrush
go to the tools in the left column it should be near the top
when u scroll over it u should see import
after you choose import
select your object
put it into you workspace and your good to go.
When you save it as an obj. export it back into maya
