What do you think of the hand topology?

Ok,

Trying to correct my first hand using just polygons, instead of subdivision.

I followed most of the "pictures" tutorial from antropus.com

But what do you think?

Should the wrist where the hand ends have 8 polygons around it? And should I extrude those 8 or 10 polygons to make an arm?

What do you think? It is my first hand. Topology is a pain. My instructor wanted webs where the fingers stretched...but it is still my first hand.

Is it supposed to be that thick from the side view?

When I look at my hand from the side the thumb is a lot lower, but that's probably different from person to person. That's what makes humans such a pain to model user added image

Other than that I can't really find anything wrong with it

They are both a little off... but the hand can be enlarged a tink and the arm can be a bit smoothatized.

drop the thumb slightly, thin off the top of the hand (above the rear crease of the thumb in side view) and thicken those fingers - they look far too fragile.

Other than that the top view seems fine, good work user added image
