My Car- Stratus

So Hybrid inspired me by modeling hiw own car, and ive seen his car its pretty sweet(you gotta stop by after work when you get your body kit on though)... Well he made his car i decided to make mine... only problem is i drive a '95 Dodge Stratus...

So im going to make the P.O.S. Stratus with only one or 2 reference images i could find... so good luck to me. Heres the main reference im using.

this is what i have so far. After about 3 hours of modeling.

I only have a side image reference.. so to get the shape i otherwise had to just look at my car and isometric pictures and try and eye it all out...

Working on the front end bumper right now but about to goto bed. ill post a screen tomorrow when its done. Then on to the rear end. Then glass. Then lights... (may do lights after bumpers).

I plan on making my car all stock. then upgrading it the way i would like to do it(if i had bottomless pockets of moeny...)

You know reference pictures isn't really a problem if you OWN the car... there is a thing called camera, that should do the trick. user added image

Thats what I said to him. I have 4 ref pics, AND Im using self taken pics of my car. I found it much easier. Especially for the interior.

Okay i got the front bumper done. Had a little trouble with the 4 air inlets in the front... Sadly i havent done much poly modeling with smoothing. i usually block it in polies and then subd's. But decided to do it a little different. I also finished the outline of the doors(only visible in wire now), and finished the trunk.

Going to finish the rest of the bumper. The rear bumper and start the lights next i think.

But hopefully ill finish that back bumper tonight(its a lot ismpler than the front).

The mirrors look sweet when smoothed out. It might just be the camera angle, but it looks like you've got alot of goemetry in small areas...looks abit funny to me. Can we see a back end pic? Looking good so far tho. user added image

yup.. been fixing the linework on it to make it flow a little better. probably going to take another day or so.

Throwing up a pic of the back end. smoothed but not finished tweaked. the wierd creases in the doors is what im in the process of fixing.. its just time consuming(vertex location problem...)
