Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

since i don't have what he called, HDRI map, so i didn't fill that part. i render and after that, i got black map user added image user added image , i use alpha channel to see. and i see one white screwdriver user added image

is the HDRI map really so important?

Yes, because it's providing the illumination data.

ic, i just downloaded some free HDRI map from internet, and i guess hopefully after that, my rendering would have something like intended.

i email the author for the hdri file and he is so nice to email attach me the hdri file.

i render it and WOW!!
i can't believe, it is so nice.
btw, this is my first render tutorial.
