This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.
here is stg very very basic but i think it look good and its why i posted it here.all done in 30 min and it took about 2hours to render.i used paint effect to create the grass.hope you like.
the comments the guys made above are good ones though, also the ball is too clean give it a logo or something just to break up the monotonous shade of the ball.
maybe i could make my scene a little more complexe but i only made that to practice my render skills.now my problem is that i dont know how to unwrap stg(i know the basic).i would like to know how the new unfold uv tool works in maya 7.0. if you have a good tut about it, just let me know.
i really dont know why it took 2 hours to render, maybe its the grass(paint effects seems long to render) anyway my computer is so bad , im sure it didnt help .
yhea i know how for easy thinks like that but when comes organic model, i dont know where to start.by the way, its not a sphere,all 6 part are not connected.
