cool v.nice
ony a few things. all looks goo but the six pack showing through the shirt is a bit much - remem with tuts make em ur own they dont need to be identical so i woud suggest reducing that but this is my opinion. i also think the helmet neds to be rounder/smoother as it looks jagged.

all u need now is some nice textures - mayb some camoflage an some detail on the face

Now at SMU doing BSc 3D Computer Animation so its hard to get on here

As for the six pack (if your going to include it), needs to lok more like a pack, and less like a eries of bars. Other than that, good work.

What exactly do you mean by "sharper renders?" You can crank up the quality and anti aliasing, and that will certainly make it sharper. Also, using a 3 point light system (or any lighting system) might help create a better render as compared to the default lighting.

well, I guess I'm talking about the use of photons.

forexampel NURBS_Girl's render: https://forum.simplymaya.com/showthre...5&pagenumber=1

looks much sharper, because she uses photons (I believe), and I was just wondering if you could get that effect with the use of the normal render, instead of mental ray?
