I'm Stumped.

Okay, so I've started a new vehicle based off Lego, K'nex, and other random clicky-toys, but I don't know what to add on to it. So far, I've added on the junky wheels, poor body, and deformed boosters. Of course, I'm going to change these in the near future. This will look much, much better if I knew what else to put on it. It's too plain right now. user added image

Think about what functions a similar kart would have. For example, you might want to add a roll cage, a sweet brush guard, a big set of fog lights, etc. There are a ton of things you could add. Look at some pics online to jog your creativity.

I would not go any further on this, Get it Textured as suggested with some nice layered textures and HDRI.

I agree, you should texture it now and see how it looks. You can add a lot of detail via texturing, so more geometry may not be neccessary.
