Lighting test In Maya (no MR)

the wheels are all the same grey color for all of these images...

The only thing i changed was either the ground color or my background color... I didn't need to change the color of my lights,

Looks good, but the shadow on the ground look a bit hard. Try softening just a little little bit.

Oh sorry, I was more concerned with the Gi, that was just a point light with raytracing turned on, i Can make it a little smoother.

I like the first one.

I think it is because the plane. In my point of view the lighter the plane better the resoults are.

You said you just used one light right. Have you tried to use a backlight for example?

I used a sphere of lights, similar to GI Joe, with 32 dirrectional lights, I have the color of the lights linked, so that if U change the ground plane color, it changes the colors of the "ground" lights, and the same for the background color. So as far as a back light go, Do you think I would need one in addition to the dome of lights? Thanks,
