I wouldn't mind a home, the street I could live without, been there already.
Oh, if it was only that easy, I would probably down load my own jet and fly to Paris for the week end.

sorry mate, I didn't mean any harm, I am so new to this, doing it alone for twelve months I didn't even know down loading a street was possible, especially a simple one. All the surfaces and shaders?? Is there such a thing as a simple street, probably, You could do a few lofts and import some Jpeg textures onto them. Simple enough I guess. A couple of planes, rotate them, you know and whack the shaders on them. I think DAZ may have a couple of environments to download but they would be more than likely in Bryce or DAZ format. I haven't seen any free '.obj' files from there for a while.
It is something I have been wanting to do myself and have concluded I will have to create the enviroment. Maybe some ofthe free tuts have a download. I saw a hauted house thta I anted to download butt can't afford the megs (limited cap with provider) until the end of the month, alreay I am 250% (150% over the cap)since disovering 'Simply Maya' a few weeks ago.

Best of luck mate.user added image

You can always check www.turbosquid.com but you have to pay for everything there. If you are looking of a free set, then well.... You will never learn anything if you dont make it your self.
