Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 1
This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

FIRST MAYA MODELS!!

hello guys n gals
I decided that this would be a great thread to start up all u guys who r real pro's included i would love to see ure first work not tutorials but ure first work u started all alone.Right from the very begining when we were all Noobies so get ure pics out and get them up!!!
Mike jay kurt etc this includes u guys too!!

Here's mine i did this straight after doing the cartoon dog tut using the same techniques from there. Still never got round to finishing it off. i know the render of the hdri is stupid user added image
Started maya at the end of october last year.

Ok, here is mine. Some robot things. Started fooling around with maya late last year after wasting several years as a painter.

The very first one was while I was still learning the interface - it seemed like a good idea to try modelling my old car. Never finished though as I wasn't good enough and I sold the car...
The second one is something I'll go back to - a medieval castle not too far from where I live.
