Re-locate Maya licence?

Hey All,

further to my thread about Maya on two machines.
It seems to me that the easiest way for me to go would be to take advantage of my education status and get a copy of unlimited for my main machine. This now has Maya complete on it, so are there any complications to this scenario:

uninstall maya Complete from G5, then install Maya Unlimited.
uninstall Maya PLE from Powerbook, then install Maya complete (from G5 )

Sounds too simple to me, bound to be more complicated tham that. user added image

Any advice folks?

If you've already installed a license on a machine, you will need to contact Autodesk to request a license transfer to the other machine. Otherwise, uninstalling/reinstalling/etc. shouldn't be a problem.
