Concept #4

Heres the story so far:

This is a planet that has no sun. The big structure is an on going project by the aliens from a far world, who has come here to generate a type of sun energy using the moon light. The lrage alien structure at the very top (around object) rotate with the moon 24/7. Moon light comes through (soma) down into the structure, which converts soma into fire (agni), and sends it back to the moon to create a sun energy for 12 hours on and 12 hours off.

The characters in the frontground are ordered to stop the alien, do to ignornce, who believe the aliens are here to create energy for their own useds, as a form of food.

The captain who ordered the humans hates the aliens do to a bad history, (his family were killed by alien, which at the time was a mistake). The aliens were trying to make peace with the humans,Which the humans were afraid of. The captain's father at the time was the commander drawing out a prefect plain to destroy the alien's world. So the alien's had no choice but to kill the commander. The son (the now captain) is the only survivor of that family, who is carrying out his fathers wishs.

So this scene is a revenge!

nice concepts vedic user added image

if you're going to have more than one character in the forground then it might be nice to have that person's face showing an intense emotion, like dread, fear or hatred etc. It could maybe be reflected in the other characters face with an opposite emotion. E.g, like one is confident of going in and one is scared stiff or has major doubts.

Just ideas mind, it is tempting to have a go myself user added image

Nice concepts man!

Personally I reckon concept 3 with the guy crouching down with some cool shadows/outliens of his face, and some guards etc on the pathway, kinda Sin City, Marvin stylie in the future, so to speak.

Yeah - really good concepts vedic kings and it's nice to see someone post variations of the same theme. I think that my favorite would be concept two, though I also like the first one.

Good work Vedic - I like the new composition. The only thing I am not sure about is the blue color scheme - I think I preferred the red of the second concept.

Ahhhh, I was wondering when CG talk was going to start their next challenge. I haven't checked their challenge forum in a while.

Anyway, very nice job! The concept sketches look awsome! I will have to keep an eye on your progress.user added image
